It is associated with Young, John Mathew Wilson (1822-1897) who has an entry in organ-biography dot info and quite a few chants are ascribed to him. Approx 300p, a number of pagination systems and numberings are present, not all consistent, also notes of rebinding activity. A few chants seem to have been re-drawn in ball point pen by most recent owner. The majority drawn in a very neat hand. Many chants give name of composer (from Handel, Davy, Visser, Clover, J M W Young, etc), date of the year, and Psalm number. In this copy the imprint has been obscured by a bookseller's label which reads "Au Gagne - Petit rue Saint Honore pres St Roch a Paris Bo�in, tient magazin de musique vocale etc " . There is a very faint and insiginificant humidity trace to a few pages in the upper inner corner, showing in a small area of the upper edge.
